Foodtopia in Ganvie

Food waste is a global issue, particularly affecting developed countries and underserved regions. In Foodtopia, rectifying this concern outweighs increased food production, recognizing that more production doesn't align with more waste. Our project centers on establishing a versatile food preservation and processing framework across consumer, trader, and producer scales. A universal, modular, and scalable system was devised, with adaptable modules and structures creating facilities. These include the solar-powered food tower, pickle hub, and fish yard using traditional techniques for preservation. Meticulously placed and designed, these facilities offer diverse functions, supplying communities with storage, gathering spaces, and processing units. The tower embodies a lighthouse's guiding spirit, symbolizing Foodtopia and leading people toward it.
