Gardens of Montuiri
Landform and Infrastructure: Sustainable settlements in Mallorca
This project aimed to showcase land quality through sustainable architecture, focusing on gardens. Located in Montuiri, Mallorca, the site featured ancient walls and elevation changes, creatively highlighted with stone-reinforced platforms. "Gardens of Montuiri" embodies a tranquil market with rentable kiosks, a local product shop, and a wine tasting area. Sustainability thrives with 3 gardens, 2 greenhouses, and a communal space with a fountain and restaurant. The design harmonizes with the landscape's incline and existing paths, utilizing step platforms and ramps for accessibility. Two entrance paths guide visitors—one to the administrative zone and kiosks, the other to communal spaces and gardens—embracing nature and sustainability in a compact, engaging form.
